This residence was designed and built in 1994 for a prominent interior building materials retailer.  It is located on a 40 acre estate overlooking the Clackamas River Valley with almost 360 degree views including a spectacular view of Mt. Hood.  In 1999 it was purchased by a new owner who asked me to remodel and refinish some areas of the home.  The new owners also designed and developed the extensive English style gardens.  The home is about 8800 square feet and all parts of this house were designed specifically for these owners.  The living room fireplace is a hand-carved stone reproduction of an Italian 16th century fireplace.
