The Norman residence was built in 1984 overlooking the Russian River and their vineyard near Healdsburg, California. The owners wanted a traditional Sonoma County Wine-Country Victorian house authentic in every respect. The family had owned and farmed this property for almost 100 years and so traditions were a significant part of this project. The Normans were involved in every step of the design and construction. From the specially milled channel-rustic siding and wood double-hung windows to the nine-foot-wide pocket door separating the dining area from the living room, every aspect was carefully crafted just for this project.
