We designed and built this English Arts and Crafts home for ourselves in 1989 – 1990 when we moved home to Oregon after 25 years in California.  It was inspired by the English Arts and Crafts homes we toured in Britain.  It was about 3,400 square feet and incorporated many of our architectural antiques we had collected over the years including a 16th century Italian stone fireplace and numerous stained glass window and antique lighting fixtures.  It is located on 25 wooded acres in the West Linn area of Clackamas County overlooking the Willamette Valley.   During our first year there, we had a wonderful snowfall.
